Lupine time!

I’ve been patiently waiting for the lupine to into full bloom. I was reading on a blog on how the flowers can give a turquoise. So yesterday I put the stem and leaves into one pot and the flowers in another. The wool with the flowers turned out turquoise while the stems and leave gave a bright yellow and solid milk chocolate brown. These are from 10:1 dye ratio with fresh plants. Definitely worth it! I want to see if I can find some more for a few more experiments.

Such colours!

Common lupine are in full bloom.
